Officials in Costa Rica's capital 'evacuate' 60,000 people during earthquake drill

Employees of the National Insurance Institute at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3 leave their offices in downtown San José to move to a designated safe area across the street in Parque España. Emergency response agencies, public offices and businesses in downtown San José participated in an earthquake drill that involved the evacuation of nearly 60,000 people in over 90 buildings of the capital.
