Costa Rica Travel – European tourism in Costa Rica has risen considerably in the last few years, after it had gone through a serious decline right after the world economic crisis changed everything in 2008.

According to the Costa Rican Institute of Tourism (ICT), Spain and Germany are the countries where most European tourists come from, so it’s become a priority to invest in ways to make it easier to travel all the way from those places.

It’s due to this that British Airways has announced they will now be having direct flights from London to Costa Rica and Costa Rica to London.

This is great news, as it opens up even more possibilities for other Europeans to come visit this tropical country.

Mauricio Ventura, the Minister of Tourism, has stated that they are about to close a deal with a European public relations agency in order to further the increase in European tourism through special offers that appeal to specific potential markets.
